The stars that brought travelers home.
Across the Swahili coast and the Arab world, the Pleiades are known as Soraya. We took our name from them.
Our name
Soraya is the cluster that has always pointed the way.
Soraya Safaris takes its name from the Pleiades, the bright cluster of stars known across the Swahili coast and the Arab world as Soraya. For generations those stars guided travelers home and told farmers when the season had turned.
That is the spirit of what we do. Kenya is home to us, and we plan every journey the way you would plan one for family: with people who are actually from here, who know the land, and who stay with you from the first idea to the last night under the stars.

A three-country presence is part of the care.
